Well ive been using one of those liquid test kits to get my water to about 6.5... ive checked the run off and its pretty much the same, next time i go to the shop ill pick up one of those meters your recommending.. There not looking any worse today, i raised the light to about 18 inches.. began LST'ing my trainwreck, will post piks of her tommorrow. Thats all for now.. thanks

One more thing,make sure your letting your top 3/4" of soil dry out before watering again. It's easy to over water your crop when their young which will cause root rot. It's a lot easier to fix under watering then over watering. As long as you feed properly and you make sure your PH is @ 6.5 give your shark a week or two and it'll be right on course with the rest.

Hello so its been about 11 days since my last picture update.. Since then i begun LSt'ing the trainwreck and recently began lst'in my cheese (yesterday), They are the two strongest of the females. I repotted the cheese,lemon skunk, trainwreck and the bagseed into larger pots and I still have the same feeding schedule as before.. Last time i posted i was having problems with my white rhino and great white shark.. both are still looking pretty much the same but have not yet died fully..im hoping that they may eventually pick up and start growing. I have about 7 bagseed seedlings on the go also about 10 days old... So first 2 pictures of my begseeds with my white rhino and great white shark (u can see a slight bit of growth on my great white shark in the past 10 days so its still living lol).. Next we got a group shot of the ones that i have repotted, Lemon skunk, trainwreck, cheese then the bagseed at the bottom. And some shots of the larger ones on there own.

I have now been vegging my larger plants for 29 days and the seedlings for 11 days, Well theve been growing nicely they certainly do seem like there growing faster than under the floros.. but then again my floros had a lower lumen output so that is expected..
And the light is now about 14 inches from the plants..Thats all for now :weed:

Another update, couple of piks here from a week after replanting, and then another couple that i took today, these piks are about 6 days apart.. the trainwreck is looking the best of all still, im wondering wen i shud start taking clones.. im hoping jus to cut like 2 clones from each strain, when is the best time? So far ive been vegging for a month and 11 days hopefully ill go into flowering by the end of the month! the trainwreck is only 20cm at its tallest point though its looking nice and bushy, others are looking nice also. Ive moved them about a lil but i guess ull kno which ones are which, basically i would appreciate some tips on when to clone..say if i want to flower by the end of this month shud i take cuttings a couple weeks prior to allow the branches to grow bak befor i flower or does it not really matter?
Another thing, i havnt used any vegging nutes apart from root juice.. im thinking about skipping the veg nutes and jus go through with flower nutes when the time comes?? What ever you have to say would be very appreciated thankss! bunstinky

its best to take clones when a plant is mature, 2 months of vegging should do it. But you can clone whenever you want really. for the best cuts take healthy tips from the lower growth because they have more of the nessacary hormones for rooting. good luck

if you veg em long enough you will get 2 onces. its not asking 2 much when you give em all that love and attention ;-)

Right, so ive just noticed some pre flowers coming from my cheese and trainwreck that appear to be female, now i also noticed some pre flowers that appear to be male on my unknown bagseed strain...but its still very early to tell, ill continue to veg them out until i know for sure. My question is wether it is normal for male pre flower to show up during vegging just as it is for females.? thanks

Pre flowers will show up on either gender in vegatation, slap on some pics of the pre flowers.

There really small i have to use a 10mm telescope lense, they do look like seed pods tho, sort of a bulky ball wid a pointed tip.. ive moved the plants around tho, i dont want to pay as much attention to the presumed male now.. will put most of the effort into my 3 fems and seedlings..im almost as sure to cut down the one i think is male to gain space but if it turns out to be female id be gutted, gonna leave it there for another week max.

Of course. lsting is good for this. the light penentrates the lower buds that would otherwise receive less light. and it adjusts the hormones in the plant, more tops! also veg em a bit longer and you will have 3 onces. The bigger pots are a good idea, what size pots you using at the moment? :leaf:

id give it another week, its not gonna hurt. when the multiply then get rid of it. maybe it will produce a little white hair. if your camera can zoom enough post a pic, we will have a look ;-)

Atm they are in about 22 cm pots, id say no more than 8 litres.. Would 35 litres be enough for there final transplant? And ill try get piks of the pre flowers a bit later. thanks

Im not too boverd about it getting hurt, i jus recon its a waste of space lol.. anyways heres the best piks i could get of its balls U can see the one on the right a bit clearer..

that is definitely some wicked zoom my friend, i always think i can spot the males and the females in veg and im right about 50% of the time soo....safe to say id be almost as good with my eyes closed, this thread caught my eye as this is literally the exact same setup i was hoping for, i have a 400watt hps/mh switchable lamp and this is the pack of seeds i should have in hand rt now but my order wasn't able to go through the first couple of tries so im very interested in how yours turn out.

i saw the cheese can produce up to 700g outdoors so i thought about vegging that one a month or 2 inside and then putting it out and letting it become a monster just for some year round smoke and then focus in on the quality of some of the others while growing inside

im subscribed though man, very intersted, never grown anything but bagseed (by that i mean dirtbag schwag seed), but never been disappointed with the seedless finished product
