Chem 91, Legend OG, Sour D (AJ cut) and GG1

Figured I better get something started here. All comments welcome.

So I’ve been out of growing about five years. But I now have the opportunity and time to get back into it. Plus I’m tired of paying for weed.

Started a bunch of seeds back in early October and picked up some clones along the way. I was able to get Legend OG first and she’s tied down because of that, but flourishing. I also picked up chem 91 and aj sour d cut. I started flowering on November 15. By the end of the month I had culled two ghost train haze x Texas butter. Final flowering plant plant is a gorilla glue one.

In the first video, you can see quite a few plants. I was sexing a bunch of others. Final count for flowering plants was 4. I will do six from now on. Plenty of other females identified and I have two more clones now. Gorilla glue number four and Karma’s sour diesel cut.

Oh, and please forgive the room with the mismatch of panda film, mylar, and uncovered, OSB board. It’s a work in progress, and before I start the next flowering session, I will fix all of that.

Looks like I had a little oopsie. I was sexing quite a few other plants and moving them back into veg after they showed.

I had a GDP male that went ahead and dumped pollen in veg after being back under 24 hr lighting for 2 weeks.

Needless to say a little bit got in the room and pollinated a few flowers on each plant. So I’ve made the following.

Gods Gift(OG x GDP)
GG#1 x GDP
Sour Grape (AJ SOUR D x GDP)
CHEM 91 x GDP

Should all be good crosses

Last time I oop-seed like that, I had 2 kids. Happy little accidents

So my legend OG branches started falling over. Should have used my net trellis.

Anyway, I tied things up best I could. Still have some lower branches dropping. Should have lollipopped more also.

First two pics of the drooping branches. Last pic is them tied back up. Still need to tie some more up this weekend.

Chemdog and Sour D starting to cannibalize themselves as they are prone to do.

So this weekend I was looking at my veg area and determining how long it was going to take me to grow and sample all the females I have already sexed. It was gonna be most of 2024 based on the fact the OG, Sour D and Chem 91 almost certainly have a spot in each run.

I grow in DWC but keep everything in FFOF, in small pots, while in veg. Anyway I had some extra 1 gallon pots laying around so I decided to start flowering some more plants in soil. This will speed up my sampling and selection process. I plan on keeping them fairly small, just want to grow, examine, sample and either cull/keep.

I'm really not expecting greatness from most of these. might find 1 or 2 keepers out of about 11 different strains/phenos.

so, I put 2 Northernberry and 2 GSC into my flowering room. Once I take clones today of a Pre98 bubba & a gorilla grape today I will add them to my flower room.

By late March or so I can determine if any of these are keepers.

that will still leave a stardawg, a ghost train haze, a second pheno of gorilla glue 1 and 2 granddaddy purps in the veg area to grow and sample.

with any luck by July, I will have grown then all and sampled.

i mean, I gotta make room. Have more seeds I wanna pop !!!

Being prone to cannabalize do they typically start from the top down? I’m realizing I haven’t payed close enough attention but it seems like in senescence they start changing color at the top but start eating themselves from the bottom. I will pay attention this round.

This is pretty typical from my limited experience. I grew a pheno of sour diesel from 2013-2018 that did this. I have also ran a chem 91 S1 for a few runs, which to be honest, I don’t remember. But neither are the prettiest plants in flowering

Upon further review, I believe I bleached the tops leaves with 100% power from my Migro lights. Clipped them off and lowered lights to 80%.

gorilla glue #1 is gonna get harvested this weekend at 52 days. I checked trichromes last night and she’s done.
