Hehehe, me thinks you may not have the real chem.great run dude..but i dont know if thats a true chemdawg. i got a clone of a true chemdawg and it grows the most odd shaped leaves:
smell is of a super powered fruit, as well as the taste.

i was going to say the same thing...every description of Chemdawg that I have seen pegs the smell and taste as Pine Sol/ jet fuel/skunk, type smell.Hehehe, me thinks you may not have the real chem.
ive never had any chemdawg that tastes the way you describe.
but who knows?
Well, i know it really doesn't mean much on the internet but I promise you i never inflate my numbers. And...to be honest i am embarrassed about the yield i pulled from the Chem. I know I can pull way more from them then that.Hey Doc it's Sire how's it going? I respect only a few opinions i know of on these sites you uncle Ben Brick Top Ogman Racer. I have totally enjoyed your grow journals. The info is valuable. I've spoken to Dr Greenthumb a few times when I first got started I thought he was a bit of a jerk but I realized the things I asked was less than intelligent questions he's heard before. I ordered the C99 it was ok not my speed though but I've read your Freedom 35, Bubba OG, I think Dope and now Chemdawg4. You sold me on the Bubba OG. After I share what I read my partner seems to doubt the final dry numbers. He thinks their possible but inflated a bit. As I told em though too much precise detail. Your numbers is due to your 7 week veg time correct? I noticed u didn't veg the chem4 that long why because of the sativa in her?
Looks like an og..still has chemdawg in it
a number of chemdawg veterans have come out to say the opposite of what you are saying so im not going to worry about it.no sir. diesel is chemdawg x super skunk x northern lights
og kush is chemdawg x kush x lemon thai.
it looks more like an og to me than a diesel or a straight chemdawg.
Lol.....what people don't get is this the weight is relative to how long you veg and your space to be able to grow it out to obtain a decent yield. I noticed how u harvest in stages and let the bottom of that girl still go. How long do u let it go? About 4 weeks? And how much (I know it depends on strain I'm speaking about the BubbaOg) did the tops weigh if you can remember and the tops of the Chem4? And which is more potent? I gathered u like the BubbaOg taste better.Well, i know it really doesn't mean much on the internet but I promise you i never inflate my numbers. You are correct about the shorter veg time for the chem...i heard they stretch so i flipped sooner. Probably wont do that the next time. In general longer veg = bigger plant and more yield. Someone on another site gave me a really hard time once about my weights so on the next grow I took pictures of me weighing the entire plant...shut him up real quick.
Yeah, i always do the multi stage harvest and it always depends on strain but even more on how healthy and green you keep them during the grow. If you don't have enough healthy green leaves to drive bud production you really wont get much late growth from the bottom. Usually 2-3 weeks extra or so. Really, all i'm doing is letting the bottom of the plant get ripe, so you just go by what the plant tells you.Lol.....what people don't get is this the weight is relative to how long you veg and your space to be able to grow it out to obtain a decent yield. That's good to know about the greeness playing a part. I grow with the biobizz line and by using the grow all the way thru till harvest it stays green basically. Never yellows but I read some where that if it doesn't yellow I'm not transferring the sugars to the buds and therefore not maximizing bud production and sacrificing weight. But your saying by it staying green it actually produces bigger heavier buds?
i agree towards the end of its life. but not in week 2 of flower as some seem to think.Apple trees and the tomato plants youre referring to dont yellow hard while fruiting because theyre an indeterminate variety. This means their flower units or clusters ripen at different time throughout the season, as long as conditions are within their living limits. This is not the case with cannabis. Its a determinate species. There are determinate varieties of tomatoes and such due to intense breeding, but im not sure which one came first. Probably determinate species, and then we made them indeterminate for consumer satisfaction.
Cannabis should yellow out towards the end of its life.
