Chernobyl and Plush Berry

Scanned over the Chernobyl and Plushberry for nanners this morning and there were no more to be found (knock on wood). I sat in the bloom room last night at lights out to see if there was any possibility of a light leak. A small section near the Chernobyl Wasn't pitch black so I went on the other side of the tent and reinforced it with some additional black plastic. Hopefully this was the cause of the stress and it was not genetic. I'll keep tabs.

Scent and resin on Chernobyl is out of this world. Heavy Lime funk. Plushberry I always got a "Fuel" smell off of, but today I would describe her scent as "Floral". Plushberry doesn't smell like normal "weed" to me, if that makes sense. New Chernobyl girl is liking the bloom room and her 5 gallon bucket, but she still looks like a nice healthy vegging plant.

I threw out the Plushberry number 2 clones, as they were male, and replaced them with nice big chernobyl #2 cuttings. Now I have 3 Chernobyl #2 clones, 3 chernobyl #1 clones (possible herm, possible my fault) and 2 plushberry clones.

As I've had mite problems in the past, But none for the last month or so (again, knock on wood) I'm going to do a preventative spray of Azamax (Organics ftw) on both girls. I want those little buggers gone for good.

Edit: After doing some research I'm going to skip the Azamax treatment as the buds are pretty far along and I don't see any active mite infestation. I've read it can effect the taste.

So, to those of you who have grown the chernobyl, does she pack on much weight/size toward the end. I love the resin output, I love the smell, but for such a big plant my yield looks pretty small. I know this can change quite a bit depending on genetics, so how do the typical genetics of Chernobyl behave?

What's your smells like?

I think I told you I have both a lime sherbert cut & a cherry cutting, both amazing cuts. I have my lime going outside now with resin starting @ week 2

She smells like artificial lime, like lime flavoring.

Did yours pack on much weight toward the end?

As a side note no more nanners. I think I stressed the poor girl out a bit at first.

Well, I sadly think that my lime Chernobyl is a bit of a nanner factory. It's not bad, its manageable, but now I'm very hesitant to put the 3 clones of her into flower. I've been going over her like any OCD grower would, and plucking out nanners when I find them with tweezers. I think I've found 10 total, which like I said is manageable, but when I am growing 12 of them I don't I don't want to have to pick at each individual bud site. I hope Chernobyl #2 doesn't display this same problem, I probably just had a little bit of bad luck. That said I'll flower out 1 of my 3 clones to be sure it wasn't stress in the beginning that caused her to throw nanners. She's got so much resin on her, and smells so strongly of limes that I think she's worth the trouble.

Plush berry, while being a Fuel/"Floral" pheno is throwing out huge amounts of Resin, and there's zero sign of nanners. That's encouraging since she's only 3 days behind Chernobyl #1. Her cuttings seem very slow to root though, which bums me out. That said 1 of the 2 finally displayed some very small root mass so I imagine it'll take off shortly.

Chernobyl #2's clones haven't rooted yet, but they've only been in the cloner about 6 days.

mine is at week 9 and still no weight. i did have some fungus gnats between week 4-6 so i am sure that diminished some of the yield. but yea, next to the Agent orange, it is about half the weight.

my next generation at week 6 look like a much better yeild.

but i would be lucky to get an oz off chernobyl in a 5 gal. the AO is getting about 2 per plant.

My Chernobyl doesn't look like a huge yielder yet. Probably 2 oz if I'm lucky, but it's a very big plant. However... this stuff looks like it's snow covered. Resin taco leaves and you can't even see some of the bud under the huge amount of tricombs she's putting out. My plush berry, while having very little berry scent is looking like she'll be a massive yielder and I'm anxious to see the finished result. I'll put some pics up today.
