Chewing tobacco?

id rather die then have half my face missing...
I'd rather do what I want and live a life of expieriences and memories. To me the enjoyment of doing everything I want overwrites the fear of getting cancer. But if it's now your thing than it's not your thing. And I fully respect your opinion to not do it. I myself don't come to any of those conclusions untill I have at least tried it.

I'll take a dip of some classic redman gold once in a while when I'm chillin' with "the boys". To the best of my knowledge it has the lowest concentration of nicotine and doesn't contain fiberglass. Tastes like raisins!

Urban myth. God only knows what they put in smokeless tobacco; the Swedes like salt granules in theirs (called 'snus'). One thing I can assure you it does NOT have is fiberglass.

After a dip or 2 (or hell, even 3), your lip or gum might feel a little raw, but that is not because fiberglass in the dip cut your lip up. When you dip, nicotine is absorbed directly through tiny blood vessels in your lips/gums called capillaries. Since nicotine enters your bloodstream by directly passing through the tissue lining your mouth, the molecule moves some of the cells in your mouth. This is what makes your gums feel tender right after a dip.

The "fiberglass hoax," as I'll refer to it, states that the fiberglass in dip makes tiny cuts in your lip, letting nicotine flow into your bloodstream faster. If you were to actually have fiberglass in your dip, the slits in your lip would bleed, causing absorption to decrease.

LONG STORY SHORT
Tobacco companies know not to put fiberglass in dipping tobacco; it's bad for both sides.

PS this doesn't mean that dip is good for you. tobacco is addicting as hell, and if you don't dip or smoke cigarettes already, then you're lucky and you should leave it that way. pot is way better:bigjoint:

Favorite Flavors
I just bought a 2-for-1 deal on Skoal Wintergreen... haven't had that in a while.

I usually do Skoal Citrus or Apple Blend Pouches (it keeps shit from getting in my teeth. I know how to dip and everything, but my eye teeth are semi-vampirish and shit gets inbetween them pretty easily.)

all this typing is really putting me in the mood for skoal. happy smoking, i'm gonna go throw one in!:peace:

i had my first experience with chewing tobacco when i was 15

i went to vancouver to work at my uncles lumber mill, and all the guys that had been working there for years used the stuff all day.

so i asked this guy i used to work with what the big fuss was about, he let me try a little and i liked it, did it everyday for like 2 months. then i came back to the US and havent touched it in 4 years

(im 19 now)
