Chhc-4

OK I have an AC unit that is wired at 240 I believe(it has two hots and one ground). I am trying to hook it up to the CHHC-4 so I can control the cooling aspect of my room with the controller rather than the thermostat the AC unit offers. Please take a look at my wiring diagram and see if you think my hypothesis would work. If anything is not clear please let me know.

Couldnt get the picture to show, but I have uploaded it via google and picasa so its safe to click.

You need a Sentinel PXM-2 to plug the AC into, and in turn it plugs into the CHHC4.
If you ask me I'd say the CHHC4 is the best controller I've used personally. Super easy to use and setup, great control, fuzzy logic CO2 is great for bottle applications.

yea had the same problem with ac and got a pxm-2 and fixed it works awesome. the pxm just has a 120 v trigger cord that switches the ac on with the chhc-4 the pxm 2 isnt more than 150 i think and worth it

You can avoid the cost of the sentinel pxm's bby buying a $10 relay from your local electric supply
