Chiller and bennies? Redundant and pointless or still worth using bennies even when chilling?

I’ve been using Hydrogaurd (and bought some Great White) and have been running bennies in my rdwc but recently I’ve been struggling to get my res temps out of the high 70s during the daytime so I recently got and plumbed in a chiller.
Now that my res temps are stable around 66-68 degrees, do the bennies have any effect at all? Does the lower temps just kill the bennies like it kills the bad bacteria or do they still serve a purpose and have a function even in chilled soup?

I have open bottles that I’ll almost certainly finish off (unless there’s a specific reason NOT to use bennies with a chiller) but I’m curious what’s going on in the soup when both bennies and chilled temps are being used
