Chillest Place To Live In Vancouver?

me and my baby's mom are thinking about moving up to vancouver, heard great things, lots of cool job prospects for both of us, america is sucking ass right now so we thougt we'd camp out someplace that no one want to nuke, BC!

so yeah we got the youngin, lookin for a house hopefully with a basement and yard and shit, nothing big just a couple bedrooms. we're not sure exactly what the budget is yet, but any where from 1000 to 1500 would be a good guess. we could afford to live closer to the city if we didn't need 2 cars for work. but im not sure how good the public transportation is. if so we could def afford more, live maybe a couple G's a month.

i ask this cause i heard the lower main land was policed by the mounties (thats what yall call them right?). are they more pigish that vancouver city police?

i dont know, what yall think should we bounce out this bitch?

the houses in vancouver are expensive!! try and get a place in the fraservally or lowermain land, pittmedows, maple ridge, abosford,ect.. average house goes for about half a million

cops are not to bad, they are tolerant towards weed, but keep the growing on the downlow lol

public transportation is not that great.. almost everyone has cars lol
