ChillKing water cooled 70 pint dehumidifier or ideal air 60 pint dehumidifier

So I'm in the market for a new dehumidifier and these are the two i'm interested in. My problem now is high humidity, and my current home depot 50 pint unit can only get it to 40% RH while i constantly exhaust. If I leave off the exhaust at night, the humidity rises to high 60% rh. I wanna move to a co2 sealed room, so i need advice on a dehumidifier upgrade. Has anyone used either of these? my current one adds so much heat to the room, the lights are 600 W cooltubed, but the dehu is putting out around 70 -70 degree F air, keeping the ac in constant use. I understand the commercial units are way more efficient than the bargain kind. just wondering if spending $700 more on a chill king is worth it. Thanks!

To run a water cooled air dehumdifier you would need a chiller system or have to run a constant drain to waste water line through it. Either way it is a lot more investment than just the $700 dehumdifier for the Chillking version. It uses cooled water to remove heat from the exhaust of the dehumidifier. In order to run this system efficiently you would need a chiller, reservoir, pump, and tubing.

Sorry, I didn't mention that I already have all those items, I used to run a ez cloner and had to buy a chiller. I guess, though there are so many variables, in the end which dehumidifier will be more efficient in total grow room electricity use?

If your dehumidifier is running your room at 40% then what do you need a better dehumidifier for? Isn't that plenty low enough? I mean anywhere between 45-55 in a flower room is optimul. Maybe a little higher in a veg room.

Anyway, I used the Hydro Innovations Dehu for a while before switching to their air handlers. It works great. What Chiller do you have? How many HP is your pump? If you have enough juice in your chiller system and the right size pump then it will actually turn your dehumidifier into a 1500btu a/c unit. Not much cooling but a little. I only ask about the size of your chiller and pump cause you said you bought it for an EZ Cloner. If it's one of those little 85 watt jobs you bought on eBay then you better go with the Ideal unit. That little dohickie won't work on those Hydro Innovations units.
