Chipmunk Help

well this is my legal veggie and herb garden.and even all my plants.flowers are gettn uprooted and dug around from them....

is there a non lethal way of ridding them??

Go to the Ebay page and search gopher. You will find solar and battery powered senders that emit vibrations underground that will repell them. They will just go to your neighbor's yard.

thats what i was thinking...i had some probs for a few years..but this year we have a lot of veggies and they are uprooting the fuggers. i told my roommate about the solar thing. but he didnt think they would workas well. but ill ebay it up and see what i find.

a small radio playing music or a talk show in the garden will keep gophers,moles, and some birds and chipmunks out. they think their is a human near by so stay away. its cheap to do and im sure you have a radio already. my problem is i have birds that like to eat my sunflower leafs for some odd reason, i need to put a radio out theri

My friend covers all the holes in his yard but one, then he empties a can of ether into the only open hole. He lights it, takes several quick steps backwards.............BOOOOOOM!!!!!!! His whole property jumps, dirt flies everywhere, flames eject from the holes, he checks for shrapnal and blood. Then he waters his lawn and garden and floods the holes.

You can consider this non-lethal if the varmants have vacated before detination.

Seriously though, you can always feed them. Give them plenty of goodies to deter them away from your garden.

@paka...I like fireworks. It sounds like a lot of fun.
@jayroach...Mb you could set up an mp3 player and some cheap speakers and just play Rick Springfield over and over it might drive them all insane.
But I gotta say...I like the little chirp they make when startled. It's too cute.
