I'm a 49 year old school stoner. Spent most my life living in So. Calif, and not only do I remember Choc Thai, I had a killer hookup for it from 1978 till 1984, Back in the 90's I had 10 plants and got about 1/4 lbs per plant, and they lived up to there Rep.Not only looks like chocolate, some were between milk and dark chocolate. It has a sweet taste going down and a chocolate taste on the exhale. And true to it's nature of Thai...It has it's own unique high, different then any green bud, and as stony as the best green i have ever had. I found this web sight looking for this strain of Thai, wanted to see if any of it was out there. This is the only place I have found it. Why am I looking?? I have 14 seeds sprouts and 6 germ, right now. I believe what i have heard out there, that this strain of Thai is all but dead.
But I plan on bringing it back, along with a strain of my own,
a cross with Blackjack and or Blackberry. So look for it this summer, from the
"longhairfreek" blackchoc Thai and or Black chocberry Its going to be fun.

Yo brother, This is longhairfreek...tell me, what was the color of the bud after cured, and the taste, was it sweet going down with a slight taste of chocolate on the exhale? Or did it just have that Thai taste? You'll know if you ever had some real chocolate Thai. Still dam good grow, you got my jaw watering just thinking about that killer brown Thai bud. Sweeeeeeeeet bud!

ok smoked the sugar leaves after drying and that shit knocked me the fuck out thats some real strong but its like 75 % amber the smoke is real smooth flushed for 3 weeks but god dam shit is lovely it has a chocolate taste at the exhale nice simple raw chocolate taste at the end im very proud of this grow here are some pics of the dried bud had 123 g wet and ended up with 38.1 dry 1.37 ounces

Not a problem, Like I said, this killer bud is about to make a come back, I'm hoping to take one of my females and seed the whole plant. I'm going to cross bread her with some black jack or blackberry kush. There just little sprouts right now, but when they get bigger I'll post some pics. The Thai plant does not look like any green bud plant you've ever seen. Here is a pick of a Thai plant and the two strains I'm going to use to cross the Chocolate Thai with.
As of today, I've got 24 sprouts out of the 30 seeds I planted. Considering some of the seeds I have are well over 20 years old. though I did have them stored in a
air tight container, in a box of stuff I had stored at my moms house. I had forgotten I even had them, till about a year ago when my mom and dad
were moving and came across a few boxes of mine. Keep watching, I'll keep posting updates....Till then, stay cool stay high. Longhairfreek out.
