I have been growing since last August. I got on here and started asking what turned out to be stupid questions, so I stopped and just read for the next few months. I have a good 2 tent system going with a decent excuse for a SOG grow going. I have the tents in the garage, which is not climate controlled. I did fine over the winter with a small heater, but this summer is going to be tough to keep it in a good range. I will be making changes to my flower tent before these babies are ready to go in there.
The Seedlings
I ordered 4 seeds from Attitude Seeds (the 3 mentioned, and Sour Turbo Diesel which did not sprout). I got 2 freebies (Candy (??) Auto and Turbo Blue 33, neither of which sprouted). I'm not too disappointed about the germ rate. I would have loved 6/6 because I've never done an Auto and the Toxic Blue 33 sounded cool, but no biggie. More time to focus on these three that I was most excited about.
My Veg Tent (3x3)
I have a 400w MH and a 125w CFL in there. They seem to do great for keeping my mother plants happy, and growing up my clones. I have the seedlings under the CFL and they seem to be loving it. There is a lot more room in there now that I gave away one of the 6-packs of clones, the large mother in the back right and a couple other clones that were planted outdoors yesterday. These are all FEM seeds, so I plan to turn them into mother plants, and probably retire my Buddha or White Widow mothers from marijuana seeds nl.
My Flowering Tent (5x5)
My flowering tent currently has 1 600w HPS in it, but I just received a second 600w. I do not have anything cooling the hood right now, but once I put the second light in there they will be air cooled. I'll have to coming up on a hot summer.
I am going to use MaxiBloom Lucas Formula, and have already switched all my current plants to LF. I am firm on that, but I will be open to hear supplemental advice. I have a bottle of SuperThrive that I can use, and a wide variety of other nutes and supplements I bought when I first started.
I've been doing a lot of winging it so far, and I have harvested around 10 plants, with 20 more well on their way, but my nutes and feeding haven't been consistent, flowering times have been way longer than they should be, and I think my buds could get fatter. I'm using the start of these seeds as a chance to get things dialed in and much more consistent than I have been doing.
I'm very open to suggestions along the way, and hope some of you will stick around to watch.
If anyone has experience with any of these strains and would let me know I would appreciate having someone I could ask a few questions during the grow.
