how many seeds? did you see any male flowers?

there is a big difference between a hermy and a female that had one or two male type flowers. Feminized seeds are not bred with hermaphrodites, they are bred with females that were forced to put out a few pollen sacs for survival of the species. that is why they are female seeds. If the pollen comes from hermaphrodites, you will get male seeds, female seeds and hermaphrodite seeds. Hermaphrodites have both male and female chromosomes, that is why they are hermies. Feminized seeds come from female plants that were pollinated with female pollen. No male chromosomes were introduced so you get 100% female seeds and plants. Using feminized seeds does not produce more hermaphrodites than regular seeds unless that particular plant was already prone to hermaphroditism by having both male and female chromosomes already in it.

I dont know if its hermi but it has seeds. Very immature seeds that look like they had started late. The pic i posted you can see 3 seeds all together towards the middle of the bud. Ill see if i can get some pics of some seeds in the bud for you guys.

I dont think your plant hermied. No seeds on the bud you showed. All women have ovaries with eggs in them. Most are not inpregnated and their eggs aren't fetuses. Gratz, you girls have a virgina but not a bady daddy lol. Dont sweat it.

My bad 94BC i thought you said that you had found seeds and or seed pods on your girl ! maybe i didnt hear you right , but if i did and your plant is a fem seed and you had no MALE plants any where near to pollinate her then what happpened to her? She's a beautiful bud but if you found seeds and seed pods on her then she more then likely hermied from either stress or light leaks changes etc as mine did...But from the pic i dont see any obvious seed pods showing but then again i did'nt on mine as well at the time when it was being pointed out to me...Peace happy token great bud anyway bro..Peace

Well this plant had went through alot of stress. light leaks, 95+ temps, over fertilized, and was almost killed when it was less than a month old. I guess it worked out better than it should of. Sorry i was just freaked about seeing seeds! Got one more bubbleicious about 3 weeks away from harvest. I guess ill see how it turns out here shortly.

Question.... What are the odds of having your plant exposed to male pollen by putting it outside once in awhile?

I have had a group go hermie/seedes from fem seeds also. It sucks, but it was my fault. I think Feminized seeds have a tendency to go this way because of stress.

I had just changed my soil mixture, and was not used to how I needed to water them for the first group, and I stressed them out. Most had some seeds toward the bottom of the plant. I checked my roots after cutting down, and the roots showed signs of stress from under watering. I now have the watering set up to work with this soil medium, and the plants are super happy, and NO SEEDS!

Just do your homework on the conditions that could have stressed your plants, and be mindful of any changes you made to growing from when you had a good crop and a bad crop. Good luck!

If I were you, I would not take any plants that are indoor plants outdoors. Keep them in the room the whole time. And it sounds like you know what you did wrong, I would just fix your light leaks, temps, etc. And your mention of light leaks will certainly stress the plant out. Good luck, braheim. Looks like you still got some tasty nugs out of the whole deal.....
