By accident and poor planning. Still constructing flower room. 6.5'-7.5' tall and still not transplanted into flowering pots. They are in 3gal pots right now. I will be bending, tying or what ever it takes to finish them. Thats just a few of 30 that range from that size. The others are just right though. These bitches get 1600ppm in nutes every other day. 875ml of grow in 25 gallons. I dont have the hoods vented because they are heating my flower space of 12.5'x27'. They got to big for my 10'x14' veg room. Grew past my veg lights:( Its one degree out right now.

Yeah, with sativas, they seemingly never stop growing, I learned early on because I started with a very good sativa strain. I would flower them at 6 inches, they still got over 2 feet.
didnt even know what she was!!

first mistake....

hindsight is 50/50.............

Hey epfsi79, I was actually on that other thread when they told you to scrap the plant. I personally would not EVER destroy a plant that is still alive and well. They must not have seen a god pic of the plant. The best thing for you to do is bend or lst the biggest branches almost in half. I think then they will be about the same height as the smaller ones. Then just drop your cfl's in a little circle around the top of the plant. It will allow you to get a little spacing and your light will be more concentrated around the entire plant instead of certain areas. I know you have the hps coming and that would probably solve everything if used in conjunction with the cfls you have. But you must do something about her height.

LST is just like bending...I will get you a link...But, there are people that actually pinch the branches and bend them all the way over (supercrop) or you can bend and tie down the branches, either to the pot, or the corners of the growing room (LST). your main problem is really light distribution right now, because you can just about manipulate the plant to grow however you want it. Once you get the 400hps you can actually use something to tie and bend the girls almost to the floor and then drop the cfls around her. Let me go and get some pics so I can better show you.

awesome thank you....

the two main branches are tied right now..one left, one right.(if ya look at the pics u can see the ties...hehe, christmas ribbon....works great!!)
Yes, I see that...to do what I am talking about and i believe somebody else mentioned it, would be to slowly bend the whole branch toward the floor and then tie it down, so it looks like you are trying to create a heart shape with the branches. In essence the top of the plant will be directly facing down to the floor. It will eventually start growing upward again, but your light will be distributed evenly and the plant will still have good growth.

I wanted to show my papaya that is about 5 ft and has very long branches. She is tied down and bent over, but I cant move my other plants to get to her. I think dd420 or somebody else probably has a link or a pic of what I am talking about.

im with DD420 on this one, no too good of an idea right there. i would make the whole thing do a big heart shaped plant!

FuZZYBUDz...do you have a pic of what you mentioned or know of a link. I am trying to visualize exactly what I am talking about. I believe we are suggesting he does the same thing.

Damn!!!!!!!! That's a beautiful tutorial! If you look at the first pic under lst, that is basically what I am refering to, only you will be taking the tops of the longest branches and tying them down (like in the pic) but to the side of the pot or right near the base of the pot toward the floor. I think you understand what I was saying now??? I hope, because my explanations sometimes suck, LOL...

when i first started i looked around, a little, and found that most people said to leave em natural.

shoulda looked around more.....
You must have met all the misguided people in one shot, lol. At least you know now. Next time we gotta find you a good indoor strain that won't try and reach for the clouds like a beanstalk...
