still he had a good press conference. didnt leave himself any room so if theres any smoking gun at all he is done. he got proof and fired 2 people within 24 hours. Took every question the press had. Didnt snivel and whine and equivocate. I'm not a cristie fan. I dont trust fat people with my money. But I like his style.
Anyway this is over. you libtards can cry all you want but he beat this one. hell even your shill axelrod is calling it off.

Its all irrelevant anyway. Billary will be the next president.

three sides to every story - his, hers and the truth
The "truth" is impossible to know, in these cases. Since there are only two witnesses to most of it, there is no actual retrievable truth, about any of it.

Ever think about that? I know people believe there is the absolute truth of all situations recorded on high, or some such. There is some neutral Witness that sees it all. Or maybe not even poetically, but people think theere is some truth, a reality of concrete definition that exists between two people. But, no, it is just she said/he said, and what I shoudla said, mixed up with what I dreamed about, or wiped from my ready memory, even. Having lived through this type of thing, it is never so cut and dry.

If you have never been though it you really don't know. And if you did, you saw there are only 2 stories, 2 totally irreconcilable viewpoints.

But, no Truth left any more. Once trust is gone, Truth has fled long before.

Took every question the press had.
which means his political career is over. see: history.

Didnt snivel and whine and equivocate.
he did equivocate, his story changed over the course of the conference as he got less scripted.

he whined the whole time. he made HIMSELF to be the victim.

Anyway this is over.
far from it, sistah!

this will be in the headlines for a long time. weeks at least.

Forgotten by who? This will be a big Media Buy from the PACs, this fall.
The mid term elections are this fall. Christie is not in the mid terms. He will be haunting lonely desert highways with a well lubed special finger unless he happens upon Unclebuck in which case he goes in dry. If he catches skylard, he will probably use his insemination implement.

I'm not a Christe fan by all means, but I was impressed by his direct answers and the lack of political sidestep we are so used to today.
My take on this is, love him or hate him, Christie is a smart guy, I just don't see him painting himself in a corner by his straightforward answers.
Another thing going for Christie is the support he has from independents, and independents typically have disdain for media smear campaigns.

The media did accomplish something, they got people focusing on Christie instead of the scandals Obama has himself waist deep in.

So, I bet an ounce a hash, you ain't payin' attention. :) You don't think this will be part of the mid-term election shrillinig?

Impossible. That is what this is for. The road to 16 must go through 14....hope that's not too advanced. :)

If you keep insulting me like this I will have Christie bugger you on a lonely highway.

Sure, the Dems might try to use it in 14 but it's hard for me to see how it would help them or hurt the Repubs. If Christie is not running in 14 how will it be useful to the "War on Women" crowd?
