Christmas Light Grow!!!!!!

So would I be able to use christmas tree lights? lulz. I have a ton and I'm thinking of trying it out till I get some cash to get good lighting.

Also, my dad can get me led lights, a lot of them. If I get a bunch together would I be able to grow with them?

Hmm, I doubt that would work and if it did work, they wouldn't grow very well under those lights.

Just my two cents...

the heat and the money alone to use those things wouldn't be that smart, just use a couple dollars and buy a pack of CFLs for your veg, Chirstmas lights are small and dont put out enough lumens, because even if you add 1000 lights the lumen output doesn't change, you are just spreading that limited number across the plant, its better but still not good.... just buy some cheap cfls

This sounds like a pretty good idea. sTART A GROW JOURNEL AND i'LL BE THERE. THey don't make everything with LEDs now-a-days cuz they are shit. THey really must work.

I'll try the leds soon. I decided to use a reg. light instead of the christmas lights. They were soooooo hot, and not very bright.

i love those rolli pollie things, and i was just talking to my friend the other day and he said something i never really realized that when you grow up, even as a gardener (maybe its just me) i never find rollie pollies any more, i think they are magical lol
that doritos pic fdd was hilarious...

Right, I don't see those fuckers anymore either. Hell, can't remember the last time I did see one. I had to of been real young...
