What he said then can apply to Iran. There are people, namely religious people, who oppose such deals because they lead to peace, exactly the opposite of what they say will bring about armageddon. They're banking on the idea of an ultimate war between good and evil to be ascended into Heaven and their leaders tell them war between Israel and Iran will bring about the end times. Just listen to Glenn Beck;

I only said they weren't mentioned because most people won't watch the video and you inaccurately state he mentions the Iran Nuclear deal and even give a specific timestamp.
I know about Hitchens, as a hard line atheist his lectures are essential watching but you're currently doing what the religious do; put words in the mouth of a dead spokesperson.

Iran is a "Western" Middle Eastern country in comparison to the people the US aligns itself with, the only issue America has with Iran is the fact Israel gets too much of a say.
Maybe Pakistan or Saudi Arabia would be better places to start...

I can only think of one way any more countries in the mid east should get nukez. It is not the way they want them.
They already have them and are pushing this "official" thing purely for war purposes, whether any person thinks they are defensive or offensive and they publish regularly their wishes regarding the very countries they demand give them such things.
So it really seems a little weetahded, but - not only are they all so full of shi* it's nearly impossible to sift much out of it, whatever offensive or defensive plans anyone might have, they wouldn't state them. We are all being taken for a ride, what ride is not always clear.
I'm guessing, but it seems the way things are /intentionally/ heading, it's a good enough chance they will use one before people stop arguing about whether or not they should have one.
