Not to sound like your father, but you should get that area of your room organized and cleaned. If you want to prevent mold, fungis, bugs, fire, etc cleanliness is a must. Plus, it feels much nicer working in a clean work area and saves a lot of time not fumbling through things with it organized. Good luck with your new lights though!
I'm growing G13xWW now so I'll sub up. Mine was pretty sensitive to heat, ph, and nutes thus far. Worst cloner of my 3 (POGK, Chemdog, G13xWW) thus far as well :\ Better be a hella good smoke or it's getting replaced with extra POGK next round.
Gotta agree with this guy, man, keeping it clean will not only make things easier and stress free, but safer, and give you higher yields even! Not to mention you feel fresh when you look fresh, you know what I'm saying?

I do like King Green's genetics though. I ran POG for a long time, had a real stretchy pheno, but it is some good good good purple and gold smoke! It kind of reminds me of Grand Daddy Purple, but better. The G13/WW sounds super interesting, if you can get a real G13 cut it is, in my opinion, one of the best cut only strains of all time. Trumping Sour Diesel, OG Kush, and Girl Scout Cookie, and being a So Cal native, I'm very familiar with GSK and OG Kush.
Day 8 - Running Smoothly
So it's been afew days since the 400w's been on & it hasnt given out yet. The WW is growing just fine so i'm worrying less about that now. Got my light pretty close to my plants now, tempatures constantly mid to high 70's :bigjoint:
The roots organic has been great with the seedlings, after reading how many organic nutes it had in it I was alittle worried about that as well, but it's really taking care of them nicely.

Afew pictures, the big ones 'Serious Seeds' Chronic & the smaller one is 'Dinafems' White Widow :leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

Thanks for reading!

Are you running your lamp 24/7? That is bad for HID man, do not recommend it. But everything looks good, everything is growing at the right rate, your sprouts look a little roughed up in the leaves, I assume that is low humidity and a little bit of wind stress, it doesn't look like it's from the lamp. If they lose their lushness, and look like a piece of plastic left under the sun too long, it's time to raise the lamp. I think your lamp is just fine where it's at though, I really do. If they start to stretch, lower it.

And congrats on your first harvest, man. Hope it keeps you tied over for a bit. Feels fucking good, to smoke your own ganja.

Thanks man, & I actually took his advice already and cleaned the FUCK out of the grow. It went from a hoarders room to spotless and i love it this way! So much easier to get around and not knock shit down after i've been smoking haha.
and Nope, the lamps on 18/6 since I always heard they need at least 4 hrs of sleep a day.
The White Widow does look alittle roughed up but it's just the way it grew out. Could be the humidity but i'm taking care of that now so we should be all systems go very soon here!

Haha, might be a good idea XD
i couldn't tell if they were dildos or tiny bongs
Toy Story was part of my childhood, so this killed me when I stumbled upon it. I just need this crop to finish up so I can use an avatar of some plants that don't look shitty :P

2x2's, panda film, and zipwall zippers. Pretty much my answer to everything. I like to use a small gauge nail gun, or stapler, just long enough to get a bit into the stud. That way it is easy to remove and patch, you just put a few thin nails in the wall to hold the 2x2 in place, and then you can staple the living shit out of the panda film to your 2x2. It can really just be scrap ply wood, doesn't have to be 2x2. Just reinforce your panda film with bits of cardboard wherever you staple. Use a little bit of white and black duct tape to patch up, and done.

I've actually tacked 2x2 to hardwood floor in one grow room, I just tried my best to patch and match before I left, and it was never noticed! But it was some pretty shitty hardwood floor to begin with.

Haha thanks man, you think a 19 year old with no construction experience could do this?

That was me in 2009 when I started bro! Haha. You have a room mate/ friend/ family member with a chop saw and a nail gun? All you have to do is find a stud and avoid electrical wires, which will be easy as long as you land your nails in the stud. If you have to cut something at an angle you may want to look up cutting and adding angles.

I'm pretty sure my grandpa's got a chop saw, i know he's got a stud finder. He loved the last shit I grew so i'm sure he'd be happy to help set this up haha

Sounds like grandpa has your back on this one. That's awesome bro, I think he'll be stoked to get involved, I'm also betting there is a 90% chance of him pointing at his junk when you ask him if he has a stud finder. But maybe I'm just too high.

Haha, sounds like you know him well. I'm just glad I know where all his shit is cause it really is all in a big drawer

I feel like I did that telepathically, so we'll just credit my ganja for that right now. I must be doing something right.

You sure you aren't thinking of a circular saw? Because a chop saw usually goes on top of a bench or a table. I mean, you can use a circular saw to cut angles, you probably aren't going to do a great job since you have no experience, and it really doesn't matter. I'd see if gramps wants to show you how first, have him make the first cut or two. I was pretty cocky the first time I started f'ing with this shit, since I think I'm so damn smart, but I've had a few close calls. Anyways, you really don't have to cut any angles at all man, don't know why I'm obsessing on it. You can just do straight cuts and use longer nails. I just don't have a very big nail gun and was using some 2x4's as well.

Blah blah blah, a boy and his jar of kief, I tell ya.

Day 15
Nothing too new, transplanted the Chronic & will be transplanting the White Widow tomorrow.

Here's the Chronic before transplant
photo 1.jpgphoto 2.jpg

When I transplanted, I had alittle more stem than I wanted so I tied it down a bit with copper wire, rubbed clonex on the stem with a cue tip, then covered it in dirt. I'm hoping it gives me alittle extra rootage going...
photo 3.jpgphoto 4.jpg
^ That pitcher with the waterfarm drip thing was just a dumb experiment, I was gonna hook my air pump up too it and feed it water like that over 1-2 minutes around the plant. Idk, i probably wont use it lol...

Here's the White Widow as of lastnight... I'm gonna wait until it pops out another node before transplanting.
photo 5.jpg

I used roots organic in solo cup to pop the seeds, transplanting into a homer bucket 1/3 full of subcools super soil and the rest with roots organic. 400w MH for veg, will switch to 400w HPS when switching to 12/12
this is my 2nd grow, and my 1st time trying lst to increase yield.

Any questions let me know, feel free to post your own pictures on this thread I love seeing what others have going.

Thanks for reading
Peace! bongsmilie

DAMN! I was enjoying watching your grow, but congratulations on the big move bro! I hope your trip goes smoothly. I moved 1000 miles at the end of December... What a pain in the ass! Can't wait for your upcoming grow. Let me know when you start and I will sub up.

Also, good job on cleaning the room right before you left it! :P
