Im growing a Jack Herer Auto from RQS in a kinda cheap organic soil. To begin with I have to say that I had a slight under, then over-watering problem in the last week (it caused a nutrient lockout - thats why the tips are burned), and I noticed that parts of the leaves started disapearing. It doesnt really happen to big old leaves, but the small ones. I looked around, under them as well. And I couldnt find anythig even remotely similar to a bug (i was using a 60x magnifying glass). Under one of the damaged ones I found a super tiny black spec (it still was nothing more that a spec under the 60x) which may be poop, but there was literally just one and also a few white specs (more on that later). About a week and a half ago I found a single stinkbug in my room and immedietaly got rid of it, but the leaves in the first pic were super tiny back then. Ive spotted the damage on pic 1 just now, pic 2 a few days ago, and pic 4 like a week ago (but it looks like a deformation of some sort).
(inb4 just calcium from water droplets, no mould)
I think that these white specs are just dead skin from my hands / styrofoamy insulation of my tent - theyre shapeless and look a little bit like tiny pieces of cotton.
So what sort of invisible bug is eating my leaves? Or are these just super weird deformations caused by the nutrient lockout? First pistils are growing so I have to fix this problem quickly before she starts flowering. Thanks!
