This started about 8 days ago. Its indoors in a 5gln bucket with GH Flora series nutrients. nutes are mixed per label at about 1100ppm in tap water, and I've added a few drops of superthrive the last few water adds. Its drinking about 2.5qts a day. Its under 2 600hps lights and has been in flower since jan.3.ive added some Co2 via sugar water and yeast. I have no clue how much Co2 im adding but my room is vented freely. So I can't imagine much is getting to the plants. RH fluctuates from 35-60 and the bucket temps average high60s to mid70s. I've been holding ph at 6.5. - 6.2. Room temps varies greatly. Rooms temps vary as its in a non a/c room but.

Any help would be appreciated. TexasTJ

It was ok before you added the superthrive? Have you added superthrive before these two times? I don't do deep water culture but it seems to me superthrive and root slime have something in common.

I'd ditch the superthrive. Lot's of folks don't like it. Myself included. I only use it to soak my cuttings in before transplanting into pro mix.

Almost looks like too much N. How often are you feeding? With every watering? Don't give so much Superthrive. Its mainly for root health, as its packed with B1 vitamins. I only use it when transplanting or flushing. Just my two cents of course

I get the claw on certain strains. Sometimes adjusting nutes helps but I've had claw throughout a few grows on a few strains. Most say it is N overload, others say just too much nutes period. But if either of those were the case then why no burn? I've had a few claw strains that made it all through flower with not a hit of burn, but a few did have darker green leaves later in flower then usual which would indicate too much N but this has happened even when N was stopped or only given in weak amounts so I can't say that is true either.
I've also heard too small of pot, rootbound causes this. But IDK.
Over-watering.
Light too close.

Being you are in DWC it looks like you need advice from someone who also uses those.

Thanks for the help guys. Im doing a water n nute change today and adding another air pump. Im gonna get this thing back where it needs to be. This whole thing has been a huge learning curve for me. You guys rock. This whole search for bigger better buds draws you in and its hard to remember to keep stuff simple.

Too much Nit. is the leaf problem, stick with the bottle for the GH nutes, I use same nutes with a top feed drip DWC and its perfect witout additives, ph at 5.5-6.3
