I was thinking more along the lines of "unique descriptor". I use titles all the time as a sort of synecdoche to refer to the entire work. So much easier to say "Bartók's piece for strings, percussion and celesta" than humming a few bars.

Anyone who can hum a few bars of Bartók has my skepticism, and if so, admiration ...

(edit) n.b. Riu's spellcheck doesn't think much of "synecdoche".

I prefer analog and stereo. Best I can do is this old marantz albeit fed with digital.
