I was thinking putting clear tarps or just building like a small tarped green house in the woods.

it would protect the bud and plant from rain or hail damage.

thoughts?

would work if no one see's it sitting there. also gotta watch as clear plastics will mirror the suns reflection off them at certain angles.

ya if its cool to grow thatd be a good idea
make sure to steak it down for wind protection
