Clear the confusion for me

I have spent alot of time looking at post about the proper way to dry and cure and thought i understood but i see alot of back and forth about humidity.
I sense that you are new.
Nothing wrong with that.
We all been there.

One of the things you will learn is that there is a LOT of different ways to do the same thing. A large majority of them are just fine. There truly is more than one way to skin a cat.
You've gotten a lot of really good advice here, and I can't really disagree with any of it, even conflicting.
"This is the ONLY way to do it. I am a master and I am right and he is wrong." When you hear this, stop listening to that source.

Do it the best way you know how
If you don't like the results, do it different next time.
If you do like the results, repeat it.

I don't know much, I've been told on these boards that I'm pretty stupid .... and, if you're here long enough, you will too.

But of all I've seen in this thread, I'd take XS121's advice. It's the closest to the way I do it ... temp below 70f, RH between 50 & 60. Dark room, moving air for 5 to 10 days.
Use a dehumidifier or a humidifier to keep the RH right.

The link you posted has to do with live plants, not dried plant material.
lol dude...you said it yourself.

If chlorophyll can be destroyed in live plants (where's the bacteria?)......what do you think happen when the plant dies or cut?

As to Dr Who.....I have respect for him and we have butted head in the past and he knows who I am.

All I can say is...believe who you want to believe. Better still, do your own research (not based on what people say here in the forum). As to my posting, it's my own opinion based on my own research.....not here to have a pissing contest.

If you dont agree......continue what you're doing....simple

Well tbh, I agree with 99% of what you said in your earlier post. We just seem to disagree on a minor point. As to that point, and your question: yes I think there are different processes at work in living organisms vs dead organisms. The whole notion of degrading chlorophyll in living plants is a completely different scenario compared to what we're taking about in the cure. It's really apples to oranges.
