Hey everyone! Im starting this thread in an attempt to inform your every day cannabis smoker that has no interest whatsoever in politics about what's going on in Canada right now. We need to eelect Justin Trudeau as the next PM of Canada. He vows to legalize cannabis (even for recreational use for users over 1. I'm worried that the people we need in this fight are too apathetic or (in some cases) too lazy to actually drive down and stand in line to vote. We gotta get this done people! This is the closest we have EVER been in the history of marijuana prohibition. Please persuade your family and friends to vote for him as well and spread the word to others who dont follow politics and convince them to get in the fight!

I implore everyone reading this who agrees and is determined to vote to post a reply voicing your support for Trudeau in this thread. I'm hoping this will turn into a sort of petition and keep bumping to the top so all Canadian RIU members will see it and learn if they dont know already.

They are all nearly the same. Personally i know trudeau is just lying and i hope that when he does get in i bite my tounge and he does decrim/legalize but i highly doubt that will happen. The party wont let that happen.

This is definitely true, I mean, the system is a complete sham designed to convince people they have a choice (which they do not).

However, not all liars are created equal. Harper is a special brand of crooked liar...

Watching QP has been something lately.
Harpco is arrogantly insulting to the intelligence of Canadians, sly, dirty and untrustworthy.
Trudeau really seems in over his head.
Mulcair is being pretty tough on the Cons, but the NDP itself has a rocky record on taxes and spending
in the provinces.

There is more to life and politics than legalization. Peoples votes need to go for what really counts in everyday life, but that is not to say
if it is legalized or decriminalized I wouldn't be happy about it.
