Past couple weeks, I have been getting only a blank box like it's still loading, but it will never load when I click the 'more' for additional choices for smileys.

don't know if this is the same problem but now the basic uploader won't work for me .. can some one explain whats going on and when will it be fixed..?

Oh? You mean the updates don't have to be applied by Rollie, or whoever has the keys to asylum (i.e. automatic)? That seems contradictory to what I've read on the VB site. Perhaps I misread their advice for fixing poorly applied updates.

All I know is vbulletin issues a new update and now nothing works on our site so all these specific problems are because of vbulletin , vbulletin has stated they are workin to fix the issue

Well, sunni...After digging through more of their fora at VB, I can start to sympathize. They seem to have a sizable problem with customer service. I suppose I just need to deal with my crippled account until "they" decide to offer a comprehensive solution to the proprietors of this site. I wonder if they are trying to put the squeeze on clients in an effort to get them to switch to VB ver.5 ?
