They'd have to be brave thieves around here, pretty much everyone i know over 40 would shoot the motherfuckers dead if they caught them, and would have plenty of weapons to plant one on them..."It was self defense, he pointed a gun at me, so i shot the motherfucker,"

Locking cables on both ends would help and so would making it part of the car alarm system, wireless induction charging would eliminate the problem.

a much better idea would be to attach the charger cable to the vehicle, and then shield the attachment point with a locking plate.
The need for rapid disconnect will frustrate security. Better hard-attach to the house and armor the thing against cut-and-run.

$2700 smh … is Nordost (home to five-figure speaker cables) the supplier?

Net Zero by 2050 is not happening

#NetZero seems nearly impossible. By #2050, demand for some #mineral resources will increase more than 100-fold just to keep up with the supply chains for #electric vehicles.

It is anticipated that sodium batteries will last up to 50 years of constant use and future sodium batteries will have more capacity. Once volume production begins their longevity will see them accumulate and be repurposed one day.
