I predict functional extinction within 100 years. I all but guarantee the us will be entering a major long term famine within 5. Shits about to be really fucking bad and it’s to late to do shit about it. Humanity deserves whatever happens to it, bunch of fucking dipshits.

Edit for clarity: 5yrs is my most optimistic prediction. Could very well and likely will be significantly sooner.

It's the middle of June as records are being obliterated in the West
Massive Western Heat Wave Spreading East—From Colorado To South Carolina (msn.com)
Just wait another 2 weeks when summer officially begins & the real long-term heat, like 2 months long, kicks in.
Right now, no one has died due to heat, but it's just begun & especially in Texas with their fucked up power grid, which couldn't handle the cold 2 years ago & over 200 people died from hypothermia due to blackouts, fails again.
Count on it.

the race won't go extinct...we're animals, no matter how much we try to deny it, and the same thing that happens with animals will happen to us...we're over breeding...so we'll die off, till we match our resources.
the pollution we're spreading now will go away when there is no one running the factories, no one running huge commercial farms, no one strip cutting the worlds forests, when no one is dumping plastic into the ocean by the ton...when the population stabilizes, it will be under 1 billion, and if the survivors learn anything from the experience, they'll stay close to that in the future...this would be a wonderland of plenty with a population of 1 billion..and no one dumping industrial waste into it 24/7

I fucking hate the heat.
Cold I can deal with by adding layers, but heat, there is no way out/escaping from it.
I think this is going to be a fucked up summer for a lot of people.
And it's only going to get worse, no way back now.
This is it
Get used to it
and it's sometime worse if you live to a body of water, cause that makes humidity...and that will drive the temps up....so with heat, watch those dew points.....if they clime to 60 and above...might as well add another 3 to 5 degrees.....i'm bout 2hrs from the coastline and that's what it does to us

Yesterday we had a nice little shower while I was working in the garden. It felt so good. Then it stopped raining and the sun came out. Son of a bitch, it was hot. I didn't last long after that.

It's raining every day here. If this year is normal, there will be very few dry days between now and September.
