I've got a sand problem here on the sandhill. I know, imagine that. But about a year or two ago the water table rose so much the pump started pumping sand. We looked into whole house filters, but settled on an under the sink one for our cooking and drinking water. When I run sprinklers I have to clean the sand out of the jets constantly. Last night I was tired of getting my cloths wet, so I stripped off and worked naked. I must say, it was the coolest I've been sans AC in a while.
My wife has been active in the AT facebook groups, and has talked about hike naked day (summer solstice) all week. I remembered I needed to walk over to the back side of the pines and water my citrus trees. I was wet and my cloths were dry, so I did a little naked hiking myself. (about a 1/4 mile round trip) Better late than never.

Looks like Anchorage Alaska is going to set a record, for the first time since records began there, June will have every days high above 60F.

She is just an instrument of civil war, a hand grenade thrown into the government that they hate and want to destroy, along with the constitution and the rule of law. You see the rule of law impedes "absolute freedom" (except for women's and minority rights), without regard for the rights of others, because they don't count, or at least their votes won't. The SCOTUS picks were more hand grenades thrown into the government, that will lead to blue states refusing to extradite women to red states for murder over miscarriages. They will also make it difficult or impossible for the US to control carbon emissions, states rights, as an archaic interpretation of the constitution regresses America to the pre civil war era. Maybe that's the idea, to provoke a rematch, civil war 2.0, with basic human rights on the line yet again. Liberal democratic states cannot be in a union with fascist states, it has to be one or the other, not both, Lincoln said as much himself.
