Clone is pushing out crystally growth?

I took some clones from my first female about 2-3 weeks into flower. they were lower branches so only had tiny buds. The one that vegged first is pushing out stems but the leaves are covered in crystals and a few hairs have come out in the nodes. is this normal when you take clones while in flower? or is there something wrong? do the new stems eventually go back to vegetative looking growth? put them under a 45w cfl. 2 clones per bulb running 24h.

Most likely, it will go back to veg... Your plant was in the mode to make flowers, rather than root growth. Might take some time and some crazy mutant growth but it will go back - anticipate delays, however.

When did you cut them? Sometimes it can take over 2 weeks for a clone to fully revert to vegetative growth. Expect weird leaf shapes, as well.

I took one set 2 weeks ago and 1 set a week ago. first set has about 6 inches of roots hanging but the new stems coming out have weird shaped leaves and about 4 hairs from each node. small bud growth at each node too. So this is fairly normal? When you take clones in early stages of flower do you cut off all the buddage, just the top bud or just leave it with the bud?

well only two survived. The one took almost 3 weeks to start growing new growth. do we think that one could've been stressed too hard? I do have one clone that's doing great and has 4 tops already so I could throw that last one out if it's likely to be a hermie.

When you clone in flower expect it to take several weeks to show new growth. The clones will look funny for a few weeks after the new growth. Once you see normal leaves coming out of the top you'll be ready to put it into a full veg under regular lighting. The bud nodes if any will dry up and you can pick them off or let them fall naturally. Keep the light levels low until they start showing normal leaves. Everthing should be ok. Don't over water or add to many nutes either.

I put them under a 45w 5500k cfl and just added a 15w UVB fluorescent once I noticed they both rooted. too much? hehe The one is getting quite bushy as i'm tying her down but her leaves look like a pepper plant or tomato ha. the two tops at the highest point have random calyxes going up their stems. totally weird lol. The second one just shot roots out last night and I see it pushing out tiny growth. We shall see how messed up that one looks too lol. I suppose I should've taken the clones before I switched to flower. I just didn't have the space at the time. Now i'm good though.
