Yo! I topped my LA Cheese photoperiod (1st attempt at photo) above second node about two weeks ago. Was just going to bin the top but someone on here said it could be used as a clone. I didn't have any cloning gel etc but tried it anyway. Anyway here's a pic of it:

It seems really slow. Just wandered if it looks ok or not? Can't see any roots etc so don't know if it's taken hold. Should I just leave it a while longer or is it a lost cause?

Sometimes it takes a reaaaaaally looooooooong time. As long as the leaves stay green and the stalk stays pliable you are G2G.

Keep an eye on the stalk that is wet for mold/mildew.

Good luck!

If that cutting is two weeks old then leave it. Most cuttings left in medium for that long would have started yellowing/dying in the leaves by now if it wasn't taking...looks like u planted in just soil so you'll be lucky if she takes, but in any event it's better than just tossing in the rubbish. Good luck!

So she finally rooted! Only concern now is she is so small, and I'm about a week and a half from flipping my others to 12/12! Does anyone reckon it will be ready in a that time? I don't want to leave it much longer to flip! The rest have been growing from seed for about 5 weeks. Could always donate it to my mate!

So here's a pic of the "top" of the clone that I was gonna just bin! Looks really lush & healthy & that's without having any clonex etc! Think she's gonna be a beaut!
