clone question

I have 2 BBxNYCD--3wks old----12/12 for 2wks--hoping for a female ....when do I take a clone?

I would take it after the plant is a little more mature. 8th or 9th node. You want to wait until the potential clone is 2 or 3 nodes itself.

Cloning is surprisingly easy. Use a rooting hormone, keep the humidity VERY high and the light weak. You want the plant to grow roots for nutrition, not just use the light.

I know lots of people say to keep them warm, and I do that for seedlings but for clones I like keeping them around 70 degrees.
