Clones from flowering mama.

Hi all I just recently took 12 clones off my plants before an early snowfall and had a concern about them. I rooted them using two different methods; soil and rockwool. The soil ones took longer but are nice and healthy while the rockwool ones have just exploded with roots and are even more healthy. Now that they have been in soil for the past week they have started to grow BUT it seems the bud has continued to grow! they are very frosty with long new pistils etc. Are they f***ed? or what happening. and new news 3 clones from a plant in late flower turned into hermi's... ALSO important info is I did set them in 48hour darkness so they should be in veg stage (now onto a 18/6 light).

Turning back the plant from flower to veggie can take 6 weeks or more!
Hormones are having to learn a new role again.

It just takes time.....
Cheers

48 hours of dark was a mistake. the clones will take longer to switch back and reveg now.

24 hours of light until they do. 18/6 could keep them in the halfway point.

And you will have to trim all of the old flowering material off of them, a little at a time, takes a while, you will learn the plants, you will talk to them, you can do it. VV

Thanks all, patients it is. as for the 48 hours of darkness, I was in the process of moving and had no other choice. They are happy though and so am I, mainly because the buds i trim off will be some good smoke. bongsmilie

Oh actually another quick question. What happens IF I don't trim the buds off?

the area that is bud will eventually get overripe and die imo. I do know that until you get it all off of there you will get some funny growth, some stunting and twisted leaves. I reverted 40 clones from flowering to vegging once, I have done it for a year or so now, I probably wouldn't remember how anymore, wait, what, oh yeah come here you lets take a look at you, see what we can do to get you back veggin'.. etc:eyesmoke: VV
