I was wondering if the tops could be used as clones...(I'm guessing yes) and if so is there anyone that wants to share their method/s and or results...also I need to know how to keep them good for 30 minute travel...I know that is all...?!!lol:lol:
Thanks !

I think that cutting a large part from the top of the plant will probably shock it alot more than just taking some from the middle or bottom

yeah, you can use your tops for clones, its quite common in fact... as far as storing for traveling.. just simply put the cut ends in a lil glass of water, this will keep them fresh enough to get you where you are going.. you can also mix a lil bit of powder rooting hormone in with the water to help out a lil...

Taking the top will result in a clone, I only do this if desperate. Take clones from the middle

When travelling give her a quick spray befor you go and put her in a small box with a towel or jumper not allowing her to get cold, especially as its -10 outside (uk)

So I guess you never top your plants, hmmm?

Of course you can clone tops. Some say branches lower down on the plant have more natural rooting hormones in them and therefore root faster. You can clone any part of the plant that includes a growth node.:leaf::leaf::leaf:

Yeah I guess I forgot to say I'm not abusing the plant.
I am topping them... and I didn't want to waste the tops....
I mean why throw perfectly healthy ls tops that will make a killer plant ...plus they are def fems!

this is in fact why a lot of people do use their tops as clones, like you said, why top and then just toss the perfectly good cutting in the trash.. but like someone else said too, just make sure it has atleast one node on her.. and also like he said, alot of people will say to use a lower branch, but in reality, any part of the plant that has atleast one node will do for a clone..
best of luck..
