Clones getting sad and diying

Ok so I post it before in here that I qs having problems with clones some.were betting brown stem and.other ones were getting sad and die my success was only 10% so now am going to do this little experiment
Am cloning 2 basquets one with dome other one with out dome temp. 75 for both ph5.8 both
Am going to try to post day by day to shoe how they doing if any of you got some suggestions please let me know or if am doing some something wrong let me know too please thank

Too humid,open vent just a crack.Dont spray anything.Make them grow roots.

Ok thanks but thought the first 3 day its with the holes of the dome close then after the 3rd day open little by little

If you only had a couple ya but its full so just open both a crack.

I personally don't understand how everybody got the patience with running clones in domes when you can clone in a simple DWC cloner?

I can't remember when a clone didn't root. I set them in the cloner with ambient light and temperature typical 20C/68F.

No wilt, misting, cubes and no watering except when filling the cloner. Set and forget, roots in 7-10 days.

Ive done both ways over the yrs,now Im rockwool and domes.Space is limited so that works for me.I use the 1.5" cubes they dont need water until they root so not much work.For me domes and hormones works faster then a bubbler.

If I were to use IBA-K and NAA(KLN) you start to see nubs in a couple of days. Whatever works is good. But I see to many new growers struggling with the easiest part of growing Cannabis, rooting clones.

I know but when you need to do 300 at the time it's kinda hard yo get those DWC cloners

Feel free to crack them a little and if the humidity gets low and you see wilting mist them.

I switched from aeroponics to cubes and have had better results; I like not having to run a pump and my cuts have generally rooted 1.5 inch rockwool cubes enough to be transplanted to 4" pots in 10 -12 days.

Not a big deal. Just buy a hole saw a little smaller than the neoprene plugs and build the cloner you want. Mines are 16 or 8 sites depending on the size of cuts. You can put 3 clones in every puck if you want.

You build the cloner to match your plant count. But whatever floats your boat. Cheers!

Awesome that you found something that works for your setup and setting. But it was probably due to operator error on the cloner, mixing rooting styles and running higher temps and humidity with water cultures leading to rot. But I may be totally wrong on that one, to many variables with local climates etc to really say what is. You can only really speculate.

I see many people struggle with the Aero cloners, not so much water cloning in DWC. I actually experimented with this a little myself couple of weeks ago and I never really got the aero cuts to root in my aero chambers. Maybe LPA works to some degree but I believe DWC is a superior method in many ways. It's very fail safe IMO. Even if the power goes out you're good. Cheers!

If I had a clone after 14 days that didnt root in aero Id dip it and drop in rockwool. it would root much faster compared to leaving it in aero. I always had some that took much longer,in domes it seams more consistent.

I didn't have a high fail rate or anything, I'd lose maybe one in a batch of 24 cuts, it was just a slower method of rooting them and needed to be powered.

To me, if rooting in media has a comparable/faster time, it's a significantly simpler way to achieve the same results. To each their own, but most commercial nurseries propagate in rockwool cubes, so it's good enough for me.

What you guys recommend just water at ph of 5.8 or you guys add more stuff to the water to submerge the rockwool

Thats all i do,a couple drops of ph down and soak the cubes.I dont check ph. I do soak clones in water for 24 hrs first though.
