clones have a problem....what could it be???

ok so my clones are about 2 weeks into veg and are growing....they came from my only female i had in my last grow and well she died about a month and a half after i reveged her and cut the clones......i was goin to use her as a mother...but not now...but what the problem is my clones.....the new growth thats commin in on the top is really droopy and comes in deformed...like missing leaves and the clones are stagering there growth....i know plants do this when there ready to be flowered but i have to veg them until i get my screen 70% filled(im scroging them if all works out)
what the problem could be is see my mother plant was the smallest plant i had...and it was alway droopy no matter what......and these clones looked great until the new growth kicked in...the thnig that worries me is right befor the mothers leaves started turning brown and wilting its leaves were deformed like crazy...but i hope yall can help heres some pics:

well thanks alot man for the help my plants look better already... i hope ive solved all the problems i think im goin to try a different watering schedule because the one im using is from my first grow and the room was way hotter and the water evaraprated faster in the planter...heres some pics of how theve came along in one day:

i didnt get to get super thrive yet but im getting some tomorrow....i did flush the system though and changed the water to 1/4 strength and lower ph...should i add the thrive in there with my gh nutes??i hope they perk up more soo though im still conserned....because the leaves are discolured and on some of the lower ones there are very tiny brown spots...
