Ok, I looked and looked, so if this has been addressed previously, I apologize.

Clones: each clone is an exact dna replica of the mother plant, correct?
I have a buddy who say's " if you clone from a clone, from a clone, eventually, you'll loss potency." Doesn't seen to me that it would matter, if it's the same dna, then it's should, under same conditions, grow and produce the same.
There are clone only strains. so, are those eventually going to be crap? I don't think so, but I can be wrong...

Anyone have any idea?:peace:

Naw the clone will have the same genes it mom has.
No loss of potency.
If u grow it mo u will get a bigger yield.
U got a female u got a female clone

About nine hundred years ago an Austrian monk named Mendel did a series of experiments cloning clones from clone. He found out that after the second series of clones that certain dna characteristics would become recessive, in otherwords they were still there ,but would not be dominate. This is true with all plants. in marijuana one of the genes that becomes recessive among others is the thc gene. This is called a pundit square. Look it up Google search . 10th biology

Mr. Green Thumb is correct... The DNA will degrade and you may start having hermie problems as well from about the fouth or so generation.

If you got your plants from a dispensary then they more than likey bought them from a grower that maintains a mother plant just for the purpose of cloning. If that is true then they should be ok. That is why people have mother plants.

Not to be a dick, but you are very wrong, The dispensaries sell shit! Miss labeled clones, spider mites, i've seen clones w/ mildew @ one Co-Op. We keep mothers so we can have a nice strong start, they keep mothers to make $$$.
