Clones showing Pistils less then one month into veg?

When I first received the clones I was told to keep em on a 12/12 cycle, dd some research and found out I was wrong switched them to 16/8 and they are growing and healthy but one of them I noticed has the vemale pistils coming off of it, after some more research I found this is because they are pre flowers aand it is eating ready to bud up?

Is the plant going to be ffine now that it is on a normal schedule? Should I be concerned?

it will be fine..clones are whatever age the mom plant was...so like if you take a clone after a plant is showing preflowers the clones will have preflowers for the whole grow..they will be there in veg, just like any other mature plant...it doesn't even mean it is ready to flower...just means that it is mature...which in nature would b around the time that the switch to flowering happens, but since we control the lights it becomes a moot point really...so just keep on keeping on and just let them grow...when they are the size you want switch them to flower and they will actually bud then.

If you mean 18/6 your probably seeing preflowers (most likely), if you running 16 hours of light and 8 hours of dark you might be close to inducing flower, some sativa's will start flowering with 14 hours of light.

Alright thanks a ton to both of you guys! Also another question.. ( without starting another thread ) i have two clones, one is a blue cheese indica and the other I believe is some form of satvia (the leaves are much thinner and longer then the BC)... The satvia is growing much faster then the indica which I've read is usual. I've been LST'ing since they have been in my possession but I'm thinking of also SCRogging them at about 10" high once I fill the lower surface area..

So my question is: should I scrog them as well as LST or just LST because this is my first grow? The satvia like plant seems to look like it would have a hard time growing upwards since I've LST'd the main stem... Is this normal or do you think it will be fine?
