clones trying to bud

my clones were started outdoors theyre 5'' tall & ican see little bud sites on them i put them inside 18 hr. 400\w mh. will they revert back to vegging? at this point all my other [2 strains] plants are outdoors&2-3 weeks into flowering this is my first indoor grow & i'm growing in soil &5ga.buckets i dont want to start all over if i dont have to

you could just throw them into flowering, people get good results throwing small clones into flowering right away, but if youre trying to get a larger yield put them on 24/0 to help them revert and they will in a week or so
