I transplanted 5 superskunk clones on to 8 once cups with foxfarm lightwarrior and I water them once a day with superthrive and water and they are dying any suggestions?

Hey,For some reason my clones are turning a very light green? They haven't rooted yet and I need some advice on how to keep them healthy... I have been spraying them with PH'ed water and seaweed.... Please help they aren't gonna make I don't think...
ALL ADVICE IS VERY APPRECIATED!!!

what kind of root started did you use??? what do u have them growing in to start their roots, what kind of light

Rockwool and CFl's..... The rooting hormone worked awesome the last time... I soaked the rockwool on distiller ph'ed water with a little seaweed....

some of mine turn yellow and stay yellow and never come back to green until the new growth.
i dont spray mine with seaweed tho.
keep doing the same things that worked last time.

Hey all,
I figured it out... TOO MUCH LIGHT! It was hurting them bad. I raised my CFL's and they have started to turn back to the normal green they once were. Just thought I would like ya all know incase some runs into the same issue. Also since I have done this (2 days) about 4 have rooted... PERFECTION!

Although moving the light may have seemed like it was the reason your plants were yellowing, I can just about guarantee that was not the reason. If your plants were yellowing from too much light, they would not be green in 2 days from moving the light. They would have a bleached out look on the old growth and your new growth would be the correct color. The only reason your plants will turn yellow or white from light is when they are "sun burned", and unless you have some new cfl, then there is not enough light there to bleach out the color.
Lots of clones yellow when they are rooting. How skinny would you get if you had no mouth and had to absorb all your nutrients through your skin? Its the same thing with plants. They had no roots, which is their mouth, so they were not able to eat. I'm sure you cut off quite a bit of leaf matter when you took the clones, so there is not much leaf surface to catch the light and produce energy. On top of that you were spraying your clones with plain water. You can strip the N out of your plants simply by spraying them with plain water.
My guess as to what was really going is this. You took your clones, put them in cubes soaked with seaweed and rooting hormone. The plants used up most of their N, plus you were spraying them so you were stipping out their N as well. The plants were about to root before you moved your lights up, eneded up rooting, and now can start to draw up the nutes more efficiently that are stored in the cube, and now they are greening up. I really don't think the lights had anything to with this problem.

Makes sense for sure.... I am spraying with Seaweed water though.. Is that not a good thing to do?

I have had my best luck not foliar spraying. And all the info I have read says to just keep a humidity dome on the cuttings as to keep the leaves dry. If you wet the leaves they are prone to mold/disease. I would just keep a humidity dome on your plants, and if any water builds up on the dome, wipe it with a cloth. With the dome, you will not have to water your cubes during cloning, the humidity will be where it needs to be, and the leaves will remain dry.
Once the clones root, feed them a light dose of veg nutes, like 400ppm, and give them a light foliar feed as well. Within a couple of days your plants will turn back to their normal green color. If you use a surfactant in your foliar spray, you can see improvments within the day.

Thanks for the tips! I will take your advice and give it a shot. I do some of the things you mentioned however there are some I have not done and fully attend to!

If things work for you, I wouldn't change too much at one time, if any. But if you are having problems, then I would suggest trying something new.
I would do half of your clones the way you usually do it and do half the new way. See which way works best for you in your grow environment. What works great for me might now work for you and I don't want to be responsible for you losing an entire crop. But for the most part, it should help out.
