Cloning a Leaf..........

has anyone seen or heard of anything like this:
i have a small plant i just cloned and on one of them i have a couple of fan leaves that are starting to grow 2-3 new leaves on their stems about an inch or so from the branch tey are groing on. i've never seen anything like it ever....... i think i'm going to cut off the leaf and try to root it after the extra leaves develop.. any input????? i'll try to get pics up real soon.
 
It's pretty rare, ive seen it maybe 5 times on here since I've started. Never seen it personally though. it will be interesting to see what happens next.
 
that sounds like some wierd growth. I want to see what your talking about :fire: What if was a triploid and did this thing you have?? Thatd be crazy
 
a long time ago, like, one house, and two apartments ago, when i first started doing hydro and didnt know what i was doing....
i cut one of the fan leaves and stuck it in the rockwool right under a plant that had been vegging for like a moth and it started growing like regular.
i stuck the stem all the way down so only the leaf was showing and laying almost flat on the rockwool.
it even made a small bud after i flipped the girls.
