Cloning(AKA: What did I do wrong)

Alright I have my "super female". I tried to cut a couple clones from lower branches. Cut 4 nodes, trimmed lower leaves to make areas for roots to grow(not to rot etc.), dipped in hormone, and planted in soil. Misted a little. Came back 1/2 hr later just to check on em and they are both slumped over laying on the ground. They are very limp and refuse to stand upright. Did I not do it right or is this considered normal?

they have anti-wilt spray at the hydro shops, but why spend $$ for something not needed.

Instead of a humidity dome you could use a very cheap transparent plastic bag - poke a couple of holes. Put the clone in a rockwool cube, in some wet sand, dirt or even in a cup of water that you change every other day for 10 days or until seeing roots. A dome is nice but cost more.
