cloning, and harvest questions for the advanced

Couple questions
I have outdoor crop.... want to bring one clone to create a mom indoors from one of my GDP's and one of my Grapefruit Diesels.

I have some pics posted of two of my Purple Kush's but want to use them as an example for my question.

I want to clone so that there are multiple branches growing form the very base of the stem...

If you look at the pics...there are a couple of each one... one grows with a main stock up the middle and then side branches sticking out... and one has like three main stocks that grow in different directions starting at the very base. I have tied them down so it is more noticeable, but i'm sure you can see...

how do i do that guaranteed every time..???

and then i have a questions about flushing..

everyone says to flush with pH balanced water...Wouldn't it be better to use a pH that wasn't ideal.... I thought the point of flushing was to flush away the nutrients, clean out your soil and let the plant absord the remaining nutrients in the stems and leaves. If your pH is NOT ideal your plants nutrient intake would also decline because of that factor....

I love answers...but only if you know what your talking about...so maybe explain your reasoning...not just a...DO THIS... cuz why would I trust you.
Thanks a lot.

I would clone the very bottom 4 branches, and I would make clones out each secondary branch. Take a look at my method.

As for flushing with ph water, I understand your question, and it's a very good one.
I never thought about that because I use molases and Cha Ching after the flush so I need a ph of 6.5 all the way to harvest.

hey ganja, hows the crop, anyway i went out and bought a rooting kit today for cloning, am going to attemp cutting four clones from my love potion, two of them am going to use dip n grow rooting concentrate and the other two am to use my method and see what's the diffrient in time. I will update you on the progress.

My grow is going well, thank you. I plan on starting 12/12 on 2 of them this coming friday.
Keep me informed on your cloneing, I love hearing first hand experiments.

By the way ceilingbeds, take some advice from ganja he has the knowledge. if you don't believe in him, read more forums. But his methods are very good, i my self have my own, but its always nice to here from another whos knowledgeable, good luck.

Thank you Amrock. Thats very nice of you to recognize.
I too enjoy hearing what works for others and appreciate reading good post that will further one's grow.

that cloning you solution you have... I got this stuff called root gel. But once it was shipped to me there is a label on it that says do not use for plants you intend to eat? did yours? To me it would make sense that if its bad for you to put it on a plant that your going to eat, it would be bad to put it on a plant you're going to smoke.

GoldenGanja just hit the nail right on the head. Take your lower 4 for clones with that structure. You can still get away with tieing down your next big sets for more yield when you flower.
