Cloning from a flowering plant

Heya guys on a grow of bag seed here and they are about to go 12/12. Once i know which are female can I then stick them under veg again and clone after a week. Will the pistels rot ect and effect the mothers sex ect once going back to veg also?

My plants were switched back to vegging and they are doing fine. The buds were tiny at that stage, just big enough to see which sex the plants are. Apparently this can stress the plants and you could get undesired results but never happened in my case. I also took clones about a week after restarting vegging and they are doing great. Some of them still had tiny pistols, looked kinda odd but they are vegging very nicely at the moment.
