Cloning from Flowering plants

Hello

I don't feel like dealing with my mothers anymore. Anyone have comments on cloning from my flowering plants and just having a straight clone section of my grow room? Thanks.

Here is my last update on my grow. Tonight I am going to try to LST as much as I can without breaking any stems. Its getting a little late to do it, but I don't want them getting much taller.

You can do it. Its just gonna take a while. It first has to revert back to veg and root. I suggest vegging until you see preflowers then clone.

Everything ive heard/read says that you should not clone during flower. Also, having a clone/veg section is a very good idea if you plan on a continuous grow, just make sure light is completely sealed from your flower room. And yes I LST my girls during early flowering (while branches are still soft and not too wood-like) allowing lower nodes to get more light therefor grow slightly larger nugs.

Time is not an issue. I am not doing a perpetual grow. My clones took about 10 days to be ready to transplant. What kind of difference can I expect, like 3 weeks until they are reverted? I don't mind cloning early, I can keep them alive in plugs long enough to finish a harvest if it is taking longer than expected. I am pretty set on doing this. My mothers are a real pain in the ass because of where I have to grow them, they high chance of bugs, and the soil, just got too much other shit I gotta do that isn't gardening.

I clone at 30 days flowering. I take 30 clones and get roots in 9 to 10 days. 14" plants in right at 32 days then to flower. Strain finishes flower in 65 days.. No issues and no real delays. Not sure what people mean by slow to clone in flowering plants? I mean how much faster can roots form...??? Mothers inside after taking off so many clones just get lanky and hard stemmed and worthless and well cheap home depot clone hormone powder and you are fine... GL

You can do it but it does take a little longer to get it ready for the flower stage. I just put two plants into flower 6 days ago (Oct. 25th). I cut 2 clones from plants that were in flower for 14 days and put them in a DIY aero cloner with 78 other clones. They took the same ammt of time to grow roots as the non-flowering clones (7-10 days). Then it took about several weeks for it to revert back to vegging. ...but when it did it made a ton of new branches. There was a thread posted by sagensour called "Monster cropping increasing yield" . Do a thread search for it...it is very good reading about taking clones from flowering plants. The last pic of the monster with a hundred stems was from that thread.
