I use it, 100% success. I have everything ready to go when I clone, a pair of sharp trimmers, 16oz. cups filled with peat moss and the cloning gel. I cut and then dip the cutting [clone] in the gel immediately and swish it around in there real good. I usually try to take cuttings that are just about 4 - 5 inches long, so I can submerge most of the cutting in there. I usually dip each cutting for a good 30 seconds, remember it's not a race. Then I take my new clone and gently push it into the peat moss, I found this works better than if I make a hole for it to go in. They root faster this way. I DO NOT MIST my clones, every time I ever tried it.....they wilted, even with the lightest sprinkle. It just doesn't work for me, I put them in a humidity dome make sure the peat moss is good and saturated and then I check on them in 24 hours. I double stack my cups and poke holes in the bottom of it using a thumbtack [ foam cups ]. The cup underneath catches all the runoff, after 24 hrs. if there is any runoff dump it out. I usually don't have to do anything after that until I transplant.
The roots literally explode from wherever the gel touches, I have roots that sometimes grow from branches above the soil level if it gets dipped in the gel.
I've done hundreds of clones with my gel and it doesn't even look like I touched it, it goes on and on like the energizer bunny.
