Cloning help!

Hello! It is my first time cloning and i have 7 clones picked on the lower half of the mother plant. I used a sunblaster nanodome with a T5 light, rapid rooter as a medium and i used clonex solution not the gel. Im on day 9 and i don’t see any roots but i see new growth. What does that mean?

Any suggestion with light schedule? Should i do full light 24 hours for the first 3 days and then switch to 18/6? Is my light too close to the clones? Should i presoak my rapid rooters before using them? How soon should i release humidity from the dome?

I have so much questions! Please let me know what worked for you! Thank you in advance!

I run mine 18_6 and got mine on the edge of a table with a t5 in the middle

Clones don't need much light

Easy on the light early on! Keep them under some kind of dome that will keep humidity in. Mist them with a spray bottle 4 - 5 times a day.
And here is the secret - ready?
BE PATIENT!!!!
Avoid at all cost what some people do, they start digging around to see if there are roots, or worse, pull the cutting out of the medium to see if it's rooting yet! EEK! Don't do that!
If they look healthy, show a bit of new growth, its just a matter of time, wait 3 - 4 more days, you will see roots. Just be patient!

This.

I find that cutting the top of a pure leaf bottle or soda bottle makes for a nifty humidi-dome!

Yeah bottle tops, I also use the bottoms over freshly planted clones while I'm harding them off

The only reason I don’t see roots in 7 days is because my pellets or cubes are too wet. sometimes you just gotta wait.
