i tried cloning. 4 days they both died i was foliar feeding them. i pulled em out to find ZERO rooting at all. why?
Some wise advice.Kids these days, do your research. All the info is here on the board.
Cloning is a simple process, natural even.
You need humidity to keep it alive until it roots. Heck I used 2 liter coke bottle halves over styrofoam.
Cut your branches neatly, and shave off the outer stem to create more surface area.
Used rooting hormone.
Open the humidity dome once a day for a few minutes and spray your plants.
And wait.
You will get root. Its ok if it droops. It'll live.
there was only one leaf i clipped one of the original branches. is that the problem?cloning can be a little tricky at first, but eventually you're gonna come up with a way that suits you and you're gonna be just fine.... don't worry at all. practice makes perfect.
I've had clones that rooted in rockwool, as well as clones that rooted in soil. At some of them, I didn't even use rooting hormone.
after you've taken the cuttings from the plant, did you also cut off the leaves on the first node. That's where it's easier for the roots to grow...
ya this was the fist time i cut them that big. heres thye resuls. there the two in the right row , and not the front one. there all clones but they where cut smaller. They dont need to be that big. You just need... fuck what was it... about 3 nodes? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Use the bottom node for more root surfaces, clip the leaves of the second node, and make sure the top node is isnt too big.
NICE!ya this was the fist time i cut them that big. heres thye resuls. there the two in the right row , and not the front one. there all clones but they where cut smaller.
