Cloning Issues

Let me start off by saying that all I do is clones, so asking for insight can be humbling haha.

I used to run Grodan 1.5" cubes in a 10x20" tray. 72 per tray 6x12. I was having issues with leaves yellowing between the veins and the leaves shrinking with burnt tips. I thought maybe the cubes where too close together and unable to dry out properly so I switched to the Grodan 78 cell smart trays. Those also have a spacer to keep the keep the cubes off of the bottom of the tray, that was a big green light for me since the lights from the shelf below are within 1/2" of the bottom of the tray above.
Clones are coming from lush deficient free moms and go into the trays looking perfect and do look perfect for the first few days.
-Cubes are soaked in Azos (2tbs/5gal) for at least 12 hrs (these new macro plugs start to break up at 24hrs) in 5.4-5.5 water, the water is 24hr water from tap, kind of hard coming out at 7.1.
-Everything is sterile, Razors, scissors, working surfaces are bleached
-The cubes are shaken of excess water before being placed in smart trays
-When the dome is placed on new cuttings, the vents stay shut for 2 days, then open for 2 days.
Clones get watered on day 4 , then the dome comes off. The issue is if I leave the domes on, vents closed, the leaves start to turn black like there's too much humidity. But when I open the vents after day 2 they start to yellow in between the veins, get burnt tips and start to look like absolute shit. After the leaving the dome off for a couple of weeks the clones (70-80% of them) come out of it and go back to looking great.
I want them to look perfect all the way through. I understand a little yellowing when they take root but this is pretty terrible.
ENVIRONMENT ENVIRONMENT ENVIRONMENT
- Root zone temps are about 77-80
-Root zone humidity is about 30-40%
-Lighting is 2 4' nanotech single T-5s per shelf
-Feeding is a simple 1 part Dyna-Gro PH'ed at 5.7-5.9 with a Benny feeding once a week when I do my moms.
-When we water we take the domes off the younger stuff to let them breathe for 5-10 minutes but don't water them.
-We have like 10-15 different strains, some are easier than others but this issues effects even the easy stuff (C99 <3).
Any help or insight is soo much appreciated. The main help I'm looking for is within the first 7 days. Thank you.

The cubes are soaked in Extreme Gardening Azos. They don't get anymore waterings until day 4 when the hood comes off. Then they get watered and fed so when they start to root something's there.
No need to feed them nutrients, I get where your coming from with the "so theres something there when they need them" but the bottom leaves will sustain them for a good chunk. Then die off as they are fed from. No damage done.
Its just not something I have ever considered till they get new growth.
Mind you rockwool is about the only thing I have never cloned in so hey maybe its a different ball game.

Other than that it kinda looks like light burn but you wouldn't think that were possible under those lights.

Yeah, I have a storage full of TurboKloners.. I like them , but they where too hit and miss. Rockwool is sterile everytime you use it. I have a feeling this issue is environmental. Probably going to get a new RO system and start to single things out. Thanks for the replies.

man, you got this dialed in!!

end the nutrients until you see roots, plant them before you feed.
mist those new cuts with water, dome closed for a day or two, open all vents and let those plants
learn where to get water from, they know. moisten the rock wool cubes when dry and light, not bone dry, not by days but by feel/sight, keep the tray bottom moist in between. imo
