cloning plants???need help

i just to 3 clippings off of one of my female plants that looked the best out doors. i dunno if im doing this right at all. i got them in a little bowl with the florescent lights on them. it was a powder rooting agent. and we put some in the water(after sticking the ends where i cut it). how long do i keep light on and how long till i should put it in a pot with dirt. any help is appreciated.

well im not to sure with the way your doing it but ive always had the best luck with puting the rooting stuff on it then puting it in rockwoll till you start to see roots all over it then transplant into soil..maybe your doing a diffrent way, sorry if i was no help

Most people put clones in Jiffy Plugs, rockwool, or very loose potting soil. The trick is to mist often, because leaf aspiration is the ONLY way the cutting takes fluids or nutrients. It will take 5-15 days before there are enough roots to support the plant cutting.

If you get over 70 percent to root you were good and lucky. It is not magic, just a matter of practice.

they should be in dirt anyways, you should dip them in rootng powder then put them directly in dirt if that's all you got.
