Take a small chunk from the side and push it down beside the stem to plug off the big hole., if its a small/skinny clone you make a new hole.

Whats going on peep an update on my close.
Very happy howmy white runt and medo breath turn up ill aposta pic of the clones in the cups, but I put a basquet of 50 clones like 9 of them dint make it I don't know the reason why but they just start getting sad even witht the dome I put then in the hole that the rowool come with but I have seen people put it on the side what you guys suggest. Let me know and also I still have like 20 in the dome they are not dying but they are not putting out roots yet any idea why or what can I do thanks
Get more light on them. Looks like they're stretching. At least those in the cups of soil.

What light its better for the clones in the cup t5 or full spectrum light
They like t5's better I think. But I just use the full spectrum 5000k lights that are in my veg tent. I have a 6 bulb t5 that I started with, but I haven't needed to get it out.

Start the t5 higher at first, and then slowly lower it to about 2" above the canopy.

I just clone in soil anymore. No dome. And my RH is around 10% most of the time. I just keep the soil moist, but you don't want to drown it. Sometimes it takes awhile, and if they die I'll just throw in another cutting. And when I use the full spectrum LED lights, I try to shade the clones under some foliage from vegging plants since they don't want that much potent light.

Completely soaking wet cubes are a killer in my experience.

T5 light.

My method - Wet cubes or jiffy’s thoroughly, gently squeeze out excess, pop in cutting, spray dome lid and cuttings, and leave alone for 3 or 4 days with dome vents closed, Then just spray dome every 2 or 3 days.

If your in a cold area heat mats are great.

Every now and then you’ll come across a plant that’s doesn’t like being cloned or is harder to clone.

Hope this helps mate.

i used to use soil now i use jiffys like they said keep them warm and moist a t5 or i use an under cabinet light from walmart after about 3 days air them out once in a while . and from my experience just when you think they wont root like 14 days in overnight they all start popping just dont fiddle with them or let them get cold or dry out

I made a room specially for my clones the temp I keep it between 75 and 80 degrees and when I clone them i spray the whole rockwool mat but looks like in day number 10the rockwool was getting kinda dry so I put cup of water under the rock wool matt so it can be moist bit not to much.
What you think

I realize that in day 10 the rock wool start getting kinda dry what you do to keep them moist

Sounds perfect to me.

vermiculite under rockwool cubes will help to keep the cubes at optimal moisture levels. Also poolshock will help keep everything sterile.
Pool shock is a generic term really for raising the free chlorine in your pool or spa. It doesn't have to be calcium hypochlorite. But I know what you mean. You mean calcium hypochlorite.

Bleach and even non chlorine products can raise the free chlorine level, so those can be considered pool shock too.

Sorry for getting too technical, lol.

I don't know if bleach would be a good option for plants since it has salt in it too.

I do one clone at a time from each of my mommies. Whatever thing you stick them in, keeping them too moist is the #1 issue for most people. I use root riot cubes and get 100% success rate at this point. I soak them in ph'd water with kelp extract, fulvic, and Souther Ag Bio Fungicide (bacillus amyloliquefaciens), squeeze them out like you would a sponge, double dip the clone (gel then powder), stick it in, then drop the entire thing into a quart ziploc bag that I misted. Don't mist the clone itself. Keeping it too wet, whether by spraying the leaves or letting the cube stay wet, will keep it from sprouting roots. I then blow up the bag like a little balloon and leave it alone for 3 or 4 days, then I check the cube for moisture, and blow it back up. A slight "wet/dry" cycle is what you are going for. After a few days of being moist, when the cube starts to dry, THAT is when the roots pop out. Keep cloning and one day it will "click" for you and you'll get a 100% survival rate. As for light, they don't need much, T5s are fine, I just throw the bags to the side of my mommy tent (LED). The Southern Ag keeps everything healthy.
